Sarhan Al Karbi

Founder

Al Bateen, Abu Dhabi

The story of 3 Guys starts with Sarhan’s love of coffee, and with wanting to understand it where it comes from rather than only at the moment it reaches the cup. So he travelled to coffee farms in a number of countries, met the people growing it, and followed the bean’s journey close up: planting, picking, processing, and on through roasting to the flavours themselves.

One Giesen, one room

Roasting since 2018

Every trip made him more curious. He studied coffee and roasting properly, took specialist certifications, and began roasting himself, getting better at it year after year, until he could give each harvest a roast of its own, one that brings out what that coffee actually is.
